Why do we have to provide the Relativity credentials while initiating production to Relativity?

Why do we have to provide the Relativity credentials when initiating production to Relativity, especially when we've already provided this information while creating the environment in the admin settings?

When you are exporting out from Venio to import into Relativity, first you need to set up an environment which is explained in this KB article. The admin credentials are used to create the initial connection to the Relativity. 

To avoid the need for this step with every user, a second validation is necessary.

This additional validation ensures workspace access validation can be acquired prior to exporting. Every user must validate their credentials before exporting. The rationale behind this is that it is more convenient to perform this validation during the export process rather than during connector setup.
