To create a Production Field Template, follow these steps :
-
Go to Admin settings.
-
Under System admin, click on Template >> Production Field Template.
-
Name your production field template and choose the required fields. Then click "Next".
-
On the following screen, you'll see the fields you picked. Once you press the 'Create' button, your production field template will be made.
- You will now be able to see your production field template under System Admin>>Template >>Manage>>Production Field.
Take note that this production field template is established on a global scale. This indicates that the fields utilized while forming this production field hold a global status. This implies that these are the Venio fields accessible across all projects generated within Venio, in contrast to custom fields which are confined to specific projects.
Custom fields, on the other hand, exist solely at the project level, and you will not encounter your project-specific custom fields here.
Now, how can I devise my production field template and retain it at the project level?
This can be accomplished during the production process itself. When you progress to the "Settings" stage within production, pick the template you previously crafted. Subsequently, click on the plus (+) icon situated on the right side.
Then click on the custom filed that you created on this project and hit the 'Add' button.
You can also add a new custom field as needed. Click on the 'New Field' tab, specify the group, and enter your field name. You can set this field as Empty, Merged, or Priority field.
You can proceed by either saving this template through the "Update" button or preserving it as a new template via the 'Save As' button.
