Prepare your source data
Place your source data under the repository path.
Example:
If the client’s internal repository upload location is:
\\fs02.veniosystems.com\VS\QC01
then you should place your source folder under:
\\fs02.veniosystems.com\VS\QC01\Internal\Upload
Select the repository during upload
When uploading data, choose the Repository option.
Select the correct repository to view the available folders.
Ensure that you have correct permissions before attempting to upload.
Ensure that the service account has read and write access to the repository to avoid encountering any state errors.
Folder visibility note
Users associated to Internal Clients will be able to see all folders.
Users associated to clients other than Internal will only see folders under their assigned client folder.
Example:
The ABC client will only see:
\\fs02.veniosystems.com\VS\QC01\ABC
meaning they will only have access to folders inside the ABC directory.
Note:
When ever a Project is created or a production is sent out or some media is uploaded via VOD, here is a diagram on how they reside.
