Cosiderations:

It would be best to only perform license application during a point in time where you can account for around 15 minutes of possible downtime in the event you may need to reboot some of the distributed servers. Please pay particular close attention to step 4!

Steps:

To apply license in Venio, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to this location on your computer: "C:\Program Files\Venio\VenioFPR\License Management.exe"
2.  Take a screenshot of the information on the "Current License Summary" page. 
   
3. Navigate the the "Distributed Server License page"
4. THIS STEP IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! Take screenshots of each individual server's license distribution. This will be important for re-applying the licenses in the proper allocations later. 
   
5. Navigate back to the "Current License Summary" page. Click on 'I would like to (re)install my license'.
6. Then, click on Next and find the .lic file we sent you.
7. Click Next again.
8. After you apply the license, you'll see the 'total license' field in the "Current license summary" tab for each type of license.
9. Now, go to the "Distributed Server license" tab and enter the number of instances for each type of license. Refer to the screenshots of each individual server you took in step 4.
10. Then click on the 'save' button to apply the changes.
