PROBLEM:
The case's data location (SOURCE, NATIVES, TEXT, IMAGES, INDEX, etc...) has been moved to a new file server or new path.
SOLUTION:
- In Venio Console, Navigate to Administration > Backup/Restore Project. The Backup/Restore Project dialog will be displayed.
- Click Next. The Task Option dialog will be displayed.
- Select Move Project Location from the tasks list.
- Click Next. The Move Project Location Option dialog will be displayed.
- Select the project that you wish to update the location from the project drop-down list.
- Select the location of the project from the Data Location Option section i.e., File Location and Index Location.
- Select the option:
- Update Database Only:
- If you select Update Database Only option, VenioOne will only change the database entry reflecting the new folder name of the selected Project/Media(s). We choose this because the files have already been moved to a new file server or new folder.
- Update Database Only:
- Click Next.
- The following will be display
- Choose Move Whole Project, then click ‘Next’
- Project/Media(s) move process will begin. Status will show the current progress status. When complete, notification that the Project/Media(s) has been moved successfully is displayed.
- Click OK and then Next. If the Update Database Only option is selected, the following notification will be displayed.
- Click the Save Backup Log link: The backup log will be saved.
- Click Finish to close the wizard. Note: Please check Saved Backup Log for any update errors.
- Make sure the case's project setting is using the new repository (Venio Console --> Project --> Edit --> Step 4 "Project Folder Selection")
- You should now run the health checkup wizard from the Venio Console in the case.
